|
Leave it to Beaver (1997) The "Leave It To Beaver" movie brings the classic all-American Cleaver family from the popular "Leave It To Beaver" TV series (1957-1963) into the 1990s. The hapless and loveable "Beav" is a regular kid who tries his best to stay out of trouble (while finding a thousand ways to mess up), played superbly by Cameron Finley. Erik von Detten stars as Beaver's big brother Wally, and Adam Zolotin co-stars as Eddie Haskell Jr. This movie is a fun slice of Americana and reminiscent of the innocent days of childhood and family. The story centers around Beaver, a 8-year-old kid who wants a fancy new bicycle. Tiny Beav joins the football team, hoping that his dad will reward him with the bike. When he gets the cool new bike for his birthday and it's then stolen from him by some bullies, Beaver endeavors to get it back.
