Bruno (2000, aka The Dress Code) Alex D. Linz stars as Bruno Battaglia, 8 year old boy spelling-genius who likes to wear women's clothing, or as he likes to say, "holy vestments". He dreams of angels and wishes he could wear their beautiful angelic garments. Bruno's mom, a dressmaker, encourages him to find "beauty" and takes him to shop for makeup and dresses. Bruno makes it to the finals of his school's spelling bee and decides to wear a dress to the event - a decision which exposes him to ridicule from fellow students and discipline from the nuns. Max Keeble's Big Move (2001) Alex D. Linz stars as Max Keeble in this comedy that's loaded with young stars including Justin Berfield, Jonathan Osser, Shawn Pyfrom, Martin Spanjers and many others. Max Keeble is continually harassed by school bullies and the school Principal until the day his dad says their family is moving. Now Max and his few friends conspire to turn the tables and do some harassing of their own. Their hilarious revenge plots culminating in the mother of all cafeteria food-fights are all blamed on Max, which is no problem because he's moving out of town - or so he thinks!
