Joe The King (1999) Noah Fleiss stars as Joe Henry, a sensitive but tough working-class kid who struggles to survive the road blocks placed in his path and to keep his life together. The child of a drunken and abusive father and a burnt-out mom, Joe's life brings him hard work at late hours, trouble in school, embarrassment about his parents, and eventually to a life of petty crime. Co-stars Peter Tambakis as young Joe, Max Ligosh as Joe's brother Mike, and James Costa as Joe's pal Ray.
