first starring role was in the TV movie "The Miracle of the Cards,"
playing Craig Shergold. Based on the true story of an 8-year-old
English boy with a brain tumor, Thomas had the challenging job of
performing the demanding role of a sickly boy near death. Thomas'
amazing performance opened doors for him to pursue other roles.
Thomas is Hugh Grant's cousin. He and Hugh both had starring
roles in the 2003 movie "Love Actually," Thomas' first international
feature film. In 2004 Thomas replaced Nicholas Hoult in the starring
role of Young Herman Rosenblatt in "Love Is a Survivor," the amazing true
story of Holocaust survivor Herman Rosenblat.
Thomas lives in South London with his mother and father, who are also
actors.
