Dan Byrd plays Brian Kniffen (Age 9-12) in this movie that is terrifying because it is based on a true story.  When 6-year-old Brian Kniffen (Ryan Wilson) and 9-year-old Brandon's (Cody Dorkin) mom and dad are falsely accused of molesting the brothers, the parents are hauled off to jail and the boys placed in protective custody during the child-molestation witch-hunts of the 1980s.  The boys are lead to believe that if they provide the "right" testimonies in their parents' trial and say that they were molested, that they and their parents will get to go home.  Child psychologists and prosecutors brainwash the boys to the point where they don't really know what the truth is anymore.  Shuttled from one foster home to another, the boys try to cope with the horrifying circumstances, while their parents try and appeal their case and bring the truth to light.  It takes 10 years for the truth to finally come out.
